Post Lower provo blue wings

Returned from florida this past week, had a good trip caught some large mouths, see pictures, and the day we were to fish for reds the wind was 40 mph and so we didnt make it. Spent the last 2 afternoons 3/14-3/15 fishing the lower provo, started at pine run only to have runoff coming into the river at the top of pine run and making the water real cloudy below, walked up to hoover and fished a bwo with a cdc (magic fly) midge trailer, sparse bwo hatch on both days, little better on wed than on thur, caught some on dries that were feeding, lots of wind, caught some on zebra midge red sz 20 and black pheasant tail size18, caught one nice rainbow on black pheasant tail see picture, and the rest we caught cookie cutter browns 12-18", nice to get out during lunch for a short break, fished from about 1pm-3pm both days. I would imagine in the next week or so the hatch will be thick for the bwo, the few that we did see were size 16-18. With the bad weather that is predicted for the next 4 days it could be really good.
