Clean & Cast Program

Native Yellowstone Cutthroat

The Clean & Cast Program was started because of the growing need to keep Utah’s waters pristine and wild. Over the past few years fishing (especially fly fishing) has grown in popularity, with this added pressure to our waters comes a greater human impact. One of the biggest impacts has been the amount of garbage that careless individuals leave behind littering our waters.

THIS CAN AND WILL BE FIXED!

The Clean & Cast Program brings thoughtful fly fishermen together to help clean up our waters as well as fish them. It works like this.  UFFC members organized a time and place to meet together to spend a day of cleaning up one of Utah waters, after they have cleaned up the area they spend the remainder of the day enjoying and fly fishing the now beautiful water. This is only a small way of giving back to nature all that she gives to us. So come to our next Clean & Cast outing, because together we can make a difference.
