Million Pipeline Issue – www.ourdamwater.org
Hello TU’ers and fellow Fishy Friends!
As most of you know, ours truly, Mr. Aaron Million has been approved by the Federal Energy Regulatory Committee, known by most as FERC, to apply for the permits to build the Flaming Gorge Pipeline. This has opened a public comment period where FERC is trying to get as much public input as possible on their views of the project. It’s our time to act…
If you have seen the instructions and have commented on the Flaming Gorge Pipeline with FERC, thanks so much. Why not send these instructions to a few friends who you think just might take action as well. For those who have not commented, please do so now. It takes just a few minutes and just a few words from you in opposition can turn into a strong, collective voice of how we all feel about the ludicrous project that possibly will take much of our fishery.
Here’s the Instructions:
- Go to www.ferc.gov
- Go to Documents and Filings menu (it’s on the homepage)
- Click on eComments tab
- Fill in the required info and you will receive the form to file your comment from ferc.gov
- The docket # for the Flaming Gorge Pipeline is P-14263
- Important—Deadline to file a comment is December 16, 2011
That’s all you have to do to say that you have done your part. In the future, there may be more opportunities to voice our opposition. I believe that if we are to say we did our part in saving Flaming Gorge and the Green river, we need to put our comments in as often as we can and as many times as it takes for this threat to die. Please help out right now, and get a few others who care, to do so. The Flaming Gorge pipeline is a terrible idea for our state, our outdoor opportunity, our future. It should have not gotten this far, so let’s make sure it doesn’t go further.
While you are at your computer, please ‘Join the Fight’ at www.ourdamwater.org as well. We want a big listing of individuals and businesses there too. If you are a business owner and want your company logo and a link to your website here, please send me an email with this information, and I will get it posted. If you Facebook, there are news articles posted on Sportsmen for the Green’s page so don’t forget to LIKE that for the current events.
Thanks to everyone who cares about one of the greatest of the country’s greats in quality coldwater fisheries. Keep it real, keep ‘em wet, keep it Green!!!
